Niagara-on-the-Lake is known for it's Shaw Festival
which celebrates the works of the famous playwright Bernard Shaw and his
contemporaries. There are
three theaters (theatres if you use the British spelling). All of the theaters
are in town and within easy walking distance of each other. Niagara-on-the-Lake
is about a 25 minute drive from Niagara Falls.
Niagara-on-the-Lake has a number of restaurants for those who
want a dinner and show night. If you come during the busy season keep in mind
that parking can be tight. Almost all on street parking is metered.
