Niagara-on-the-Lake has a number of hotels, inns and bed and breakfast
establishments. If you don't have reservations note that members of the bed and
breakfast association have a plaque identifying them. Niagara-on-the-Lake is
about 25 minutes from Niagara Falls by car.
The center of town is Queen Street which becomes Picton. However, some of the
larger hotels will provide transportation. The town shopping is mostly of the
boutique variety. If you need something such as electronics or cameras you might
want to drive to Saint Catherine. (Don't forget the duty if you make purchases
in Canada and are a US citizen)
The ownership of some of the larger hotels seemed to be in a state of flux
when we visited in 2005.
