The Butterfly Conservancy near Niagara FallsThe Butterfly Conservancy is a truly beautiful sight. Millions of butterflies fly free in a huge glass dome. The best time to visit is during the day when there is plenty of sun since the photography will be better and the butterflys will be more active. . There is an exhibit area as you enter the conservancy with information on these fascinating creatures. The inside of the dome is filled with tropical plants providing a natural setting for the residents. As you wander the paths you will see a variety of butterfly species. They request that you don't touch the butterflies, however, be prepared to have them land on you. Location: 2405 Niagara River Parkway Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada For more information, please visit the Butterfly Conservancy Page of the Niagara Parks Website. Tips
