Table Rock at Niagara Falls
The Table Rock Viewing area is probably one of the best vantage points on the Canadian side to see Niagara Falls close up. The crowds can make it tough to get pictures but you can take advantage of some of the terraced viewing areas there. The building houses a number of shops and restaurants. You can get a great view of the falls while you dine. There is no private vehicle parking in the immediate area. You either need to park in the lot a little further upriver and walk or purchase a 'people mover' pass. This will allow you to use the green tandem busses that run to the various attractions. You can take the 'behind the falls' tour which will let you see the falls from a truly unique vantage point. Keep in mind that there is a lot of mist in this area. Check your camera lens periodically or you'll end up with spots on your pictures.
The table rock building houses the usual tourist shops and restaurants (if you call a restaurant next to the falls 'usual')
